Barn fun

I was hoping to get some pictures of the kids with the 3 kittens but their mother has moved them and no one knows where to. So pictures of the kids just exploring the barn had to suffice :)

Nathan absolutely loves going to the barn everyday, no matter the weather. He uses his shovel (dollar store) to push manure into the gutter as well as scooping up feed. And no, it doesn't get washed in between jobs :)
MaryBeth also loves the barn and has no fear at all of the cows. She'll walk right up beside them and let them lick her. Cows are very jumpy and skitish around unfamiliar people. They are now used to Nathan running around everywhere but MaryBeth is new to them and it makes my heart jump every time she gets close to them and they start to jump around.

Eden is always hanging around in the barn too. "Dee-den", as Nathan calls her, often keeps an eye on him if I'm not around.

Sitting on a bale of straw, watching Daddy milk the cows. MaryBeth does a pretty good cow imitation. One of these days I need to video tape it so we can remember it always.

The hardest working man I know :)

I'm sure we'll be spending many more hours in this cozy barn in the weeks and months ahead.
