Because half of us were sick we weren't sure when to exchange gifts with each other. The past couple of years we always did it on Christmas eve and that was the plan for this year as well. But it wasn't until the afternoon on the 24th that we decided to go ahead with it, more because I just wanted to get it done and over with! After a supper of A&W and McDonalds, we sat around the tree and watched the kids faces light up :)
