We are more then half way through October already and back into a regular routine of school 5 days a week. Mary Beth was super excited to be going everyday instead of 2 or 3 days a week but after the first week, she changed her mind. Grade 1 is a huge adjustment for kids and every late afternoon/evening has some tears being shed :( But things seem to be going better and she hasn't asked to go back to kindergarten again.
Nathan wasn't excited to go back to school, but that was no surprise to us. He would prefer to stay home and "work" in the barn or outside. But he hasn't complained too much and is happy to have a "helper", Miss K, part time. We are so thankful for our school and how they are able to help with special needs!
The first couple weeks of school was hard on Jenna. She cried almost every morning Nathan and Mary Beth got on the bus :( But she is adjusting too. And we have been busy almost everyday with something. Potty training is going well with about 2 weeks under her belt.
