Tomorrow, April 22 at 9 am, Chris' cousin, Mike Neven will be having surgery to remove a tumor from his brain. Please pray for Mike, Sherri- his wife, their 4 kids, and their extended family. Also if you could pray for the Dr.s and nurses that they will perform to the best of their ability.
About a month ago Mike was in a car accident. He seemed to be okay but about a week later, his speech was slurred. After a series of tests, dr.s found bleeding in his brain, and then a tumor. Although this wasn't good news, the family is thankful that Mike had the accident because the tumor would probably have gone unnoticed for a long time. The accident was a blessing in disguise!
The surgery to remove the tumor is a big ordeal! The dr. has today off to prepare himself for it, and will have the day after off as well to recover from the surgery. Talk about alot of pressure! The dr. has also told Mike and Sherri to not even think about whether the tumor is cancerous or not, but to just focus on the operation at this point. They will not know for 7-10 days if the tumor is cancerous. I will let you know what happens over the next while. God is Almighty... pray for His will to be done!
