Summertime

What a beautiful summer we've been having! Compared to last summer the weather has been amazing. The crops are about 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule- definately a bumper crop :) We've been enjoying the sunny days, mostly here at home, but every now and then we go out. This past Saturday Chris had a baseball game in Burlington so what better way to spend the morning then go to watch (and enjoy the park too :). Nathan would prefer to spend the entire time on the swings while I would rather sit and watch my hubby hit a home run! MaryBeth is usually content to tag along in the stroller.

Last week Tuesday we enjoyed visiting 2 of my cousins who are over from Alberta. Lisa and her 2 girls, Leah and Rebecca, and Michelle and one of her 3 boys, Michael, are visiting their parents and grandparents, my Uncle Henry and Aunty Mary, for a week. They also came for our cousin Heather's wedding which was this past Friday. My sister Andrea, 3 of her kids and myself with my 2, went to Aunty Mary's for the morning and enjoyed catching up with Lisa and Michelle. I brought my camera along but left it in the car :( It was so nice to see them again!

After our nice visit, Andrea and I took our kiddos to a near by park for a picnic lunch. The bees were out in full force which made for quick eating. It was also quite warm out so we didn't stay long.
