Day in Toronto

Our day out for Amanda wasn't very sunny, but we made the best of it, even though things did not go at all as planned. First the restaurant we were going to have lunch at was closed for the season. Then the boat we were supposed to go on was booked for a charity event that we were not informed about. But I still had a great time and I think everyone else did too. The skyline was really cool with all the clouds covering the tops of the buildings. We only saw part of the CN Tower once for several seconds. Lunch ended up being at a small restaurant that served breakfast all day. French toast and waffles was the choice by everyone except me. I had a delicous omlette. We then walked the streets for several hours enjoying the various shops and a stop at the local Starbucks. Our boat ride was scheduled for 3:30pm, but upon arrival of the harbour, we found a sign saying the afternoon cruise had been cancled. Instead the boat was being used for a charity event. After wandering around for abit, trying to figure out what to do, we went and did what girls do best.... shopping!!!
